Thomas E. Oplinger, CPA

Thomas joined Sabel & Oplinger, CPA, PC as partner in 1976. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a small write-up tax practice to an audit and consulting firm with notable professional and technical capabilities, including groups specializing in cooperatives and condominiums, non-profits, family-owned business, estates and trusts. Tom’s business philosophy is one of personal service, teamwork, and relationship-building, with the client’s interests always coming first. He has been involved in many local civic organizations throughout this career, including The Southampton Youth Association, Southampton Chamber of Commerce, treasurer of the Southampton Golf Club, and a past president of the Rotary Club of Southampton.

Professionally, he is a member of both the AICPA and the NYSSCPA. Tom received a B.A. in accounting from Adelphi University.
